1.1.3 significance of components in example system

The composition structure does not indicate which components in the structure are significant and which are insignificant. For instance, the "accounts clerk" component in the example might be viewed as a minor intermediary in the interactions between the roles "site manager" and "suppliers sales persons". However, if the purpose of the diagram was to explain how payments for supplies were correlated against orders for supplies, then the "accounts clerk" component would be very important. Or for instance, the "directory agencies" component might be viewed as a simple intermediary in the interactions between the roles "supplier sales persons" and "buyer". However, if the purpose of the diagram was to explain supplier assessment, registration and certification, then the "directory agencies" would be the most important component, .
