1.4.5 IDEF0 model with mechanisms

This model is identical to the model without mechanisms except for the inclusion of the mechanism interactions. Its virtue is that it makes clear which people are responsible for each activity in the model.

Note that a mechanism interaction in a high level diagram can expand into a set of mechanism interactions in lower level diagrams. For instance, the people mechanism in the top level diagram expands into suppliers, agencies, buyers, site manager, and accounts clerks mechanisms in lower level diagrams. The top level diagram just indicates that all activities are supported by people, whilst the lower level diagrams specify which people support each individual low level activity.
